That's the script sorted!

That's the script sorted!

That’s the script sorted!

The Serena’s Adventures books will include an audio file of the story, as well as the paper copy of the book.

When the children are reviewing the books it is important, to me, they get to experience the audio element of the books as well as the paper pages.

To create the audio file I record myself reading the story on Zoom.

I send the audio file Zoom creates, along with the paper pages to the children who are reviewing my book.

I’ve been working on the words, the script, for the videos for Books 3 and 4 of Serena’s Adventures.

At first I began thinking of new words but quickly realised I already had the information I needed in the Serena’s Adventures books.

After a bit of tweaking I’ve decided what I’m going to say.

Now, to practise the words and the stories then record the videos.

I watch the finished videos, to make sure everything is as I want it to be.

I want the children to have the best experience they can, when they are reviewing Serena’s Adventures. It matters to me they enjoy themselves.

The next step is to record the videos and listen to myself reading the stories. I get to hear what I sound like to other people!
