My Story Creating Calendar - A Year of Stories 2025

In my Story Creating Calendar, ‘A Year of Stories 2025’, I have a photo with a story prompt. A story prompt is a question designed to give an adult or child an idea to start a story.
Here is one of the photos I had to choose from.
I walked into this room and stood and stared in wonder. It was so big and richly decorated. This is the lounge in the Adelphi Hotel, in Liverpool. The room is a recreation of the lounge from the sailing ship, the Titanic.
I imagined lots of well-dressed people together and wondered what other parts of the ship must have been like, if this was the lounge. I felt like I was walking into the past.
I love learning about places and people from the past. It’s interesting to find out what they did. The information fuels my imagination.
The lounge was an amazing place.
I believe creating stories, in whatever way you choose, is the gateway to building self-confidence and enormous fun! Being in your imagination is a fabulous place to be.
