What new skill would you like to learn?
Amazingly, I have recorded four videos. I can’t quite believe I am actually doing this!
I need the videos to go to the school, St Clare’s Primary School, where I will be working with the children helping them with their literacy and numeracy.
The school asked me if I would record some videos so the children know about me before I start working with them.
I decided to record four videos:
- an introduction to myself and my books
- me reading a short section from Pure Human City
- me reading a short extract from Farmyard Olympics, one of the stories from I Can Create Stories
- a video where I made up a story with two soft toys a bee and a robot.
I got myself set up and then went for it. After a few false starts I managed to record all four videos. The video with the bee and robot is my favourite.
I have sent the links to the school. I hope the children enjoy the videos.
I am enjoying learning the skills I need to record videos very much.
